Over the summer and partway through the first month of the new school year, Capri had worked on a present for Terri in addition to making contingency plans for dealing with possible future enemies. It was a small invention made from an old smart watch but a powerful one and by this afternoon of Thursday, September 7th, 2017, it had been tested multiple times and was now ready to be presented to the blonde-haired girl. Capri walked over to the current home of her three times great-granduncle, with Spark flying behind her, and rang the doorbell. She didn’t have to wait long for a response. It was now September 1st, 2017 and Terri briefly thought of what had happened over the past few weeks. Spending time with Yolanda had been great and the visit that the Dreamfinder and Figment had made to sick kids and adults the day afterward had also gone smoothly. The other days involved Terri spending time with her foster family doing things like going to the beach, visiting the Brevard Museum of Science and Natural History, finishing reading The Chronicles of Narnia, and miscellaneous other things. Today Terri was at home and playing basketball outside with Figment while thinking of what would happen next week. On the late afternoon of Sunday, August 13th, 2017, Jess and Capri Harmony set their picnic table in the backyard and heated up the grill to cook hot dogs and hamburgers for their cookout. The Dreamfinder, Figment, and Terri would be here soon and they needed to be sure that they had everything ready. My Dad the Dreamfinder chapter 9 August 11th, 2017, the day that Fye came over for tea, was a good one. Terri had to admit that she liked the elderly sound sprite. He reminded her of a grandparent. Of course, the preteen girl was polite throughout their whole meal, even if she got briefly frightened by the mention of what the rest of Fye’s kind were like. “Thank you for explaining that most sound sprites were like the fair folk in old stories told on Earth; I must admit that the story of Doubt’s takeover of the academy was the one that frightened me the most when I first heard it though.” Terri said. “I can’t blame you for feeling that way; it was a scary time. My Dad the Dreamfinder chapter 7 Doubt was not the only being that was the anthropomorphic personification of something horrible. Grief (or Guilt) was another; unlike Doubt, it had red eyes but was just as black all over albeit with some grey coloring on it as well. It had sensed the Dreamfinder’s guilt over leaving his family behind, causing Doubt to appear on the academy’s campus, and most recently, not being able to prevent his foster daughter Terri from being attacked by a stranger. Grief knew that Terri herself had her own regrets besides not saying goodbye to her birth parents before she left home shortly before the couple were murdered. The girl’s other main source of guilt was not being able to prevent people from being bullies in the first place no matter how many times she fought with them to protect Yolanda. My Dad the Dreamfinder chapter 3 The Dreamfinder had gone to bed about an hour after Terri and Figment had done so last night. He was however the first one to wake up around 7:00 a.m. on Wednesday, August 2nd, 2017. This morning would be the perfect time to take Terri and Figment on a walk in the park once they had breakfast and he had changed into 21st century clothes courtesy of using dream power to do so. Yes, that was a very mundane use for it but it worked. For now, he changed out of his pajamas and put on his regular clothing before going into the kitchen to make a cup of tea for himself. After that, he would make pancakes, sausage, and scrambled eggs for breakfast since he knew how to make all 3 of those food items already. Lemon Drops ½ cup of shortening ½ cup of sugar ½ cup of light corn syrup 1 egg 1 tbsp. grated lemon rind 1 tbsp. of lemon juice 2 cups of sifted all-purpose flour ¼ tsp. of salt Combine shortening, sugar, corn syrup, egg, grated lemon rind and juice then mix well. Stir in sifted dry ingredients. Drop by teaspoonfuls on a greased baking sheet. Sprinkle tops of cookies with Lemon Sugar (1/2 cup of sugar and 1 tablespoon of grated lemon rind). Bake at 400⁰F for 8-10 minutes. Makes 3 and a half dozen two and a half inch cookies

I come from a big family(2nd oldest of 10 kids), love Disney movies, am a college student and though I myself am not a good artist, I do appreciate good pictures when I see them. Still slowly working on chapter 10 of My Dad The Dreamfinder. It's rough because I want to make sure it isn't too long and make sure that it still has enough detail to be interesting. I'm planning on having 32 chapters total by the time I am done with writing it.
